2000 Mitsubishi Eclipse Repair Question

Manual transmission 5 spd pops out of 4th gear. All other gears work fine.
It seems that if I'm driving the car while in 4th gear, and my speed is up (around 45-50MPH) and the RPMs are up (2500-3000) it will stay in gear. But if the speed is down along with the RPMs, and I step on the gas pedal, it will pop out of 4th. All other gears work fine, no issues.

You have a fault with the 4ht gear, and that requires stripping donw the trans to check. It could be a bad symchronzer ring/hub or the bearings have excessive clearances.
