2000 Mercury Marquis Repair Question

Can you tell me why my 2000 Grand Marquis will crank but not fully start?

I just replaced the fuel pump and filter. The pump is coming on and the filter is on the right way. We've cleared the air out of the lines but now gas won't come out of the lines to the engine or the pressure release valve. I know it has just under half a tank in it.

When we removed the gas lines from the injectors they shot gas out. Now it won't do it at all. It's almost like it's not sending fuel to the engine anymore.

i know the connector at the top of the tank is difficult to go to. make sure it is completely connected.
without a gauge, it is difficult to say. What kind of pump was it??

Duralast pump. I would get the gauge but I spent all my money on the pump, filter, and a battery.
