I reversed my Lincoln ls on top a curb over night and when I went to leave in the morning I turned on my car and shifted out of park, the shifter moves out of park with ease but the transmission did not shift out of park. So in all the shifter moves but will not shift out of park, what could be the problem?

I checked the leakage and it all in tacked, any other suggestions you can may be very helpful. Does the fact that the digital dash reads P when its in park but when you shift it reads nothing all have anything to do with it?

GOT YOU A TRANNY CIRCUIT DIADRAM (2PCS.)

HAD TO SCREENSHOT THESE FROM "PRODEMAND" AND CROP 'EM IN "MY PICTURES", AS I COULD FIND NO OTHER WAY IT WOULD LET ME SAVE THEM

DIAGRAM 1 IS THE TOP PORTION

DIAGRAM 2 IS THE BOTTOM PORTION

DIAGRAM 1 WILL OVERLAP DIAGRAM 2 (AS WHERE THEY MEET THEY CONTAIN THE SAME INFO)

PAY ATTENTION TO THE TOP OF DIAGRAM 1

ALL FUSES ARE SHOWN THAT ARE INVOLVED IN THE TRANNY-THEY SHOW THE NUMBERS AND THE LOCATIONS OF THE FUSES

I'D CHECK THEM 1ST, THEN MAYBE CONNECTIONS TO THE TRANNY

OTHER THAN THAT, THAT'S ABOUT ALL I CAN OFFER

LET ME KNOW IF THIS HELPED
