L have a landrover freelander 1.8 ltr and a 2000 model with a problem. Now it cranks up but wont start at the same time the pump would pump for some seconds and then cuts off or does not pump at all. Can u assist

Fuel pumps run for a few sec's during cranking then shut down, they then start up when alternator voltage kicks in, this is so if the ignition is on after a crash with the engine stalled and a broken fuel line the pump will not keep running, I would be checking for spark and injection pulse first.
