2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Repair Question

Jeep Grand Cherokee Body Problem
I replaced the cam synconizer and the jeep hasnt ran good since.it has no power n back fires in throttle body.hold gas pedal down to floor n it wont hardly pull out.
