Coolant seems to coming inside through passenger floor vent after a coolant flush. Temperature on passenger side seems to not respond as well as driver side.

Heater core is leaking. It needs to be replaced.I suggest replacing the thermostat as well.

Initially the passenger side temp control would not work. I thought it might be the air dam actuators. Would a heater core issue affect one side of the dual zone climate controls?

The acuators are electric. The coolant could have effected the motor that works the blend door. At any rate, it has to be removed to do the heater core. Have the shop check it out while they are there.
