Hey my jaguar started making a noise and I knew it was the timing chain I still drove it like that until one day it turn off, it still turns on now and bearly runs. I took it to sum mechanics and told me it was probably one chain that was loose and needed to replace it but that it will cost me about $2,000. How can I change the timing chain on my 2000 jaguar s type?

This is not a job that you should be considering if you have no experience, if you do want to have a go, I recommend that you get a good quality workshop manual and read up on the procedure, this will give you all the steps and plenty of pic s, this is far to much to be writing here.
