I have gotten 2 tickets for a brake light out. The last time I bought bulbs at AutoZone they told me that apparently Isuzu knows that they go out way too quickly and instead of fixing the problem, I must keep my receipt and get free bulbs each time I need them. Isuzu dealership knows nothing about this program. It is an issue because in Oakland, Ca, every time I get a ticket for brake light out, it costs me $25. + Time finding a policeman to confirm they work and taking it to the courthouse. I have replaced the motor, trans, most everything so I can drive this for years more, love the car but am not ok with needing to check my brake lights every time I intend to start the car. Anyone know about this? Thanks

So has this problem Been going on for years?Or with your recent bulb replacement?Because personally my experience with all these new bulbs especially on the new cars they just don't last very long. The old ones I have seen last years and years. Also is it just one side going out or both sides?Looked for recalls campaigns and service bulletins from Isuzu and couldn't find any for brake lights going out over and over.
