Honda CRV Battery Problem
Lately my Honda has been making a grinding start on the first start of the day..But only does it on cold mornings...I had the battery, alternator and starter checked at the auto store...and all three were good...He suggested it may be the connection at the starter...So what do you think...It huts recently started after sitting for ten days, when I was away on vacation...thx...Nell

If you had the battery checked after some running, it might not be accurate. Was a high rate discharge test performed?
One way of testing is to connect a voltmeter and check the initial voltage in the morning. Should be at least 12.4 volts. Note the battery voltage while you are cranking. If it drops below 11 volts, it is going to be a problem.
