2000 Honda Civic Ex Manual, Odometer @ 194,200 Miles

Civic hesitates under a moderate accelleration, 3000k or so.(Sounds as if so the car's power just cuts out.) I have to pull the clutch in and rev motor a lil, then the hesitation goes away.

*ONLY Happens within first minute after vehical start up( While Driving ).- Occur's while vehical is cold or warmed up.*

Happens in every gear.

First started happening when check engine light came on. ( Upstream 02 sensor )(don't remember code #)
Replaced Upstream O2 sensor with new.

Check engine light Was reset, and has NOT came back on. But still having hesitation problems under accel. during every engine start up.

No vacuume leaks.

Checked compression and leakdown. Good

Checked Timing. replaced fuel filter, cap rotor, plugs and wires.

Problem indicates a likely fault in the ignition system. Check the ignition coil.

Check oil level.Vtec engines will get a hesitation if the oil level gets low. Ignition misfire can also cause a hesitation aswell. Distributor failing, ignition wires arching etc.

Isolated ignition coil, checked primary and secondary resistance. Both were within spec. primary @ .7 ohms and secondary @ 17.58 k ohms.

What is your engine code?

Was replaced O2 sensor OEM?

Get a scan tool to monitor the datastream and check if anything is not working within spec.
