Timing issue
If the timing is set back in a gmc safari with 222,76 miles and a vortec motor, will the motor die soon?

Incorrect ignition timing will result in poor performance and poor economy, if the engine is pinging on acceleration you do run the risk of burning a piston but this is long term.
