Ford Taurus Air pump Problem
I replaced the air pump in my wagon and it is still giving the 1413 code and engine light is still on what else can it be

this is the chart. all these items need to be checked. codes never idnetify bad parts just failed systems

Harness circuits: B+, EAIR, EAIR Monitor, Ground, AIRB
Solid State Relay (SSR)
Electric Secondary Air Injection (AIR) pump
Secondary Air Injection (AIR) bypass solenoid
Powertrain Control Module (PCM)
Secondary Air Injection (AIR) diverter valve
Vacuum supply
Air silencer
Secondary Air Injection (AIR) check valve
Hoses
Partial restricted exhaust
