2000 Ford Focus Been Hearing Knocking Sound Brake Seems Match Speed Wheel

I have been hearing a knocking sound when I brake, it seems to match the speed of the wheel. What do I do? I replaced the brakes and rotors this past summer and only recently started hearing this sound. Is it safe to drive?
