2000 Ford Explorer Repair Question

Vehicle will start but will not stay running without giving it some gas
Vehicle will start but you have to give it gas to keep running was fine this morning then all of a sudden this happened battery is within 2 years old alt was replaced a few months ago and a new engine was put in about 2 years ago

The idle control system seems to have a problem and if there are no trouble codes, cleaning the throttle body and IAC should solve the problem.
