sparks under hood makes awful noise also will not go over 40 mph battery light is also coming on HELPPPP

Where are the sparks coming from? Loose battery cable connections can cause sparks. Look if there's two fat wires in a plug on the side of the generator. Ford had a lot of trouble with those overheating and burning up. They will be black with an orange stripe.
