Ford Contour Check engine light Problem
2000 ford contour 2.5 shuts off going down road always starts back up

Check to make sure the fuel pressure is within the manufacturer's specs. Also, if the check engine light has come on, have the computer scanned to see if there are trouble codes that will help you identify the problem. Most parts stores will scan it for free for you.
