FEELS AS IF IT LOSES FUEL PRESSURE WHEN AT RUNNING TEMP, RPM'S READ JUST BELOW "1" WHEN IT HAPPENS, I CAN FLOOR THE PEDAL AND GET NOTHING IT TAKES A FEW SECONDS THEN PRESSURE IS RESTORED THEN ALMOST IMMEDIATELY LOSES IT AGAIN Check engine light does not turn on when a unit is disconnected which would set the light to come on. I have replaced the plugs, wires, coil pack, and checked the CAT. None of that worked. I have been told it could be the "brain" or the fuel pump but don't want to spend that kind of money to have it be the other or none of them. How can I determine the cause of the car not working correctly. NOTE: the check engine light came on once and very briefly.

Start by having the computer scanned for codes and if any comeback with it-

I had it scanned a few times and nothing shows up at all. Could it be the "brain/computer" for the reason nothing is registering? or what could cause the car not to read that anything is wrong with it?

Did you meant no dash lights or nothing happens when you turn key to cranking position

I can start the car perfectly fine. When key is turned to "on" position all dash lights work, but the car does not register any check engine light when something is unplugged, like it should.

It runs perfectly fine but no CEL/SES/MIL when a sensor is unplugged-Is the CEL On when key at run position? If so have the computer checked out

Computer of the car? If so, I will try that. If not, I have had the car hooked up to a few diagnostic machines and none read a single issue.
