Stalls unless you keep foot on gas

My 2000 Dakota stalls / idles very low all the time... When hooked to scanner it says iac issue. We have replaced this 4 times now... It seems to solve the problem initially... Last time we replaced it it only lasted a day.... Something seems to be frying the iac? What else could this be? Or coincidence . Haha we have received 4 faulty motors?

Check the wires to the IAC for shorts and open if none could be the computer itself failing-also check the PCV and EGR valves to include the TPS sensor
