Seized back hatch door

I was wondering
how do I get a seized back hatch door open on a 2000 chevy venture. I have tried WD40 in the lock but it doesn't move. Any advice on what I can try

Worse comes to worse your going to have to see if you can take that rear door panel off from the inside, find the frozen linkage and manually unlock the door using a screwdriver forcing the linkage to move.
