heater is not blowing hot

2000 Chevy S-10, 4.3L, heater blowing luke warm air, new thermostat, just back flushed core, all controls seem to b working properly, any suggestions?? Thanks.

Heater hoses-1 is hot and one is cool, but back-flushing core resulted in air moving freely n both directions!!

heater core needs to be replaced. not enough is flowing.

Hoping it wasnt that,but oh well, could low coolant have anything to do with it??
