I don't know there is a best way. Partially drain the cooling system. Carefully remove the throttle body air inlet duct. Remove the airpipe. Remove the exhaust crossover pipe. Use hose clamp in order to reposition the hose clamp at the thermostat housing. Disconnect the radiator hose from the thermostat housing. Remove thermostat housing bolts. Remove the thermostat housing and gasket. Clean mating surface.

AHH, Someone else with the same problem before me and an answer, search engine is a great tool.
Thanks JDL!
I was hoping I would not have to remove the exhaust crossover as it looks like it might be bear!
I was going try to "snake it out" with long handled 13 MM

It's a whole lot easier with the exhaust crossover pipe removed but can be done without it but you'll be hating it when your done.

The extended boxed 13mm idea I had worked! So did snaking it out.
I am not hating it at all. ANYTIME I can save 350 bucks on a FREE car is time well spent. I just got done with the car and it now has heat, no leaks and is running very well
Thanks again for your help!
