Car overheeating notshifting

2000 impala 3.4 , over heating and not shifting out of first gear. Tried a trans flush and coolant flush and it ran fine for two days now its doing it again, please help

you need to find out why it is overheating, as a bad thermostat, clogged radiator, a leak or possible head gasket from driving overheated.

the trans is a separate issue. it sounds like an internal failure and needs to be checked by a shop to confirm.
