A pro has to scan for codes to see what is wrong with system it could be an abs problem or suspension problem.

The 2000 Corvette / ABS - Active handling service" - I did ask a repair shop and they were glib and said about $3500.00 or more - nothing further - he then shut it off and car works perfect with just the abs/handling light symbels come up sometimes and go out?
This is very expensive at this time if not needed - what if it is not fixed?

Your electronic suspension won't work at all neither will abs but you will still have brakes. Of course with a price of $3500 to fix your selling price will go way down. Check around other shops maybe you can get a better price. If it's an abs problem they can be rebuilt. Abs codes will automatically knock out suspension
