I have a 2000 Cadillac Deville. I pulled up the codes on it. How do I kno wwhich ignition coil bank is bad? I changed the front about a year ago but how do I know which 1 is bad?

What are the codes? No specific banks mentioned? How many coils ya got?

The code I got was "system relay contacts or coil circuit open" I have 2 banks 1 is for the front and one is on the back. It didnt tell which bank though.

You could pull plugs and look for a wet/dark 1. Change it and if that dont cure it change that bank? This has worked for others with similar issues?

Lol yea I know is there any way to check them? I was told my tranny might be goin out but I dont believe that or atleast dont wanna believe it. Will the back coil going out make my car not idle and change gears properly?
