2000 Buick Century Repair Question

Buick Century Battery Problem

Car been running hot for awhile it also needed an oil change one day it just killed then the battery went dead come to find out the battery was nomore good had to buy a new battery but the car kept killing that battery so i had to get another battery that one killed to now the car is just sitting there battery dead what can be the problem????

Very common problem is the generator. It is supposed to keep the battery charged. Measure the battery voltage with the engine running. It must be between 13.75 and 14.75 volts. If it is low, the generator is not working or there's a blown fuse for its output circuit. That will be a large bolted-in fuse in the under-hood fuse box.
