Hi took my vw polo 1999 1.4 in for m.O.T they said its missfiring and said I need a full service before they do any think is that right? And how much around about it will cost? Thanks

Actually, the problem may be caused by needing serviced. However, it is odd for them to request that before checking other things related to the problem unless it is running that poorly.
