Can i put a subaru turbo on my vw golf gti 1.8T?

My turbo car is dead and its price here 500$ ... can i put w subaru turbo wich is very cheap 200$ and more powerful than my old one?? it will work fine??thx for any help and sorry about my english language i am from lebanon

I am not familiar with Subaru Turbo, but I would assume that they are mounted different / have different bolt patterns than the VW Turbo. The money you save on the Turbo, will be lost when you have to spend more money to make it fit.
