Car not running properly
Hello my vw golf cabriolet stutters on acceleration and popping noises from exhaust can you tell me what problem might be please

cold be a valve problem, have it scanned for codes and compression checked.

The usual cause of stuttering / sputtering on acceleration with the
A3 ABA engines is Ignition related.
Any recent rain or car wash?
Check the ignition system, ignition wires, cap & rotor and the Ignition
coil.
