Replacing headlight bulb

Howdo i replace head light bulb on my 1999 vauxhall astra. i cannot figure out how to remove old bulb to put new one in.

Our database does not have any information on your vehicle so I will explain the way to do it as it is generic.

Unplug the connector, some require a clip to be pressed to release before the connector would come off.

Remove the rubber boot. If equipped with a cap and consealed wires, the cap have to come off before the connector.

Bulb is held in place by a spring which is released by pushing against it and moving it away from the locking tab.

Bulb can then be removed.
