i have problem with my heater not changing from vents to dfroster to floor or vice a versa the heater switch is electric controlled and i have checked all the fuses in the kick panel and under the hood and i have hot heat just staying on just the vent only could it be the switch or a short or what do you think desperately in need

there are two cables for this system one controls air direction and the other controls temp. check to see if the cable for the air direction is brokeno out of adjustment. if cable is ok then check to see where cable connects if it broken. You will have to check at heater control end and under dash. if the cable on heater endis extended then that is defrost if cable is not extended it's for heat. Normally if this was a donation question they are answered right away. if you asked the first time an dit was under free questions it may have been misplaced or gone unanswered because of the amount of questions received here.
