How can I get my alarm to work again?

We replaced the intake gaskets on the van and after my alarm quit working. We checked to see if it was set up right with the key and listening for the dings and it is. The doors no longer look when the van is put into gear either.

Have you checed fuses? Is this a factory alarm or aftermarket?

I hate to say it, but you need to have the system scanned to identify where the problem is coming from. There are several sensors. That can cause the problem. It becomes a guessing game at this point without scanning.
