Draining out the transmission fluid Took the transmission pan off and out fell this piece. Vehicle has not been driven in a year because transmission was not shiting. I want to know what this piece broke off of in transmission and what it is called and if its something that can be bought or rebuilt?

That is a piece of one of the bands in the trans that is why it's not shifting, it won't have a trans guy rebuild it or put another trans init.
