Pontiac Grand Am Panel Problem

My car is having intermittent instrument panel failure. When it fails, the display does not indicate speed, tachometer, fuel level, temp, oil pressure or anything. The heater, a/c and windows do not work either. It seems to fail at random times and stay off for random lengths of time. When it works, no problem but when it fails it’s an annoyance to say the least. I have 141000 miles on the car and it runs great in spite of the intermittent instrument panel failure. Any fixes for this???

Check for trouble codes. A possible fault with the Body Control Module.
