We have had the battery, and starter/solenoid tested and they are good. We replaced one battery cable, the vehicle started (repeatedly) and ran great for 2+ hrs. Stopped for fuel, and again nothing. Disconnected and reconnected the battery and it worked again. No rhyme or reason. Just doesn't start occasionally. Very annoying. Is it possible that it is storing a code until the bartery is disconnected?

If it stores acode your service engine light will go on. If fuel pressure is ok then check your automatic shutdown relay in the power distribution cneter under hood. Also have your cam and crank sensors checked for resistance.
