battery light came on then car died got a jump then went to auto zone checked starter,alternator,and charged battery said they all were good, next day all the lights went dim and car cut off and wouldn't start again what does this mean. just got new spark plugs and oil changed about a week or so before this happen.

check the 3 things i have pointed out in drawing. any of those could cause the problem as well as ignition switch.

no it's a schematic of the starting system on your car. everything is marked where fuses are etc. except for fusible link an dyou will have to follow that color wire to se it.

how much and how long will it take to fix in a shop or is it something that can be easily fixed by anyone

you could have a draw on the battery as well, this stuff takes time an dprices vary around u.s. best thing is to go to a grage explain what's wrong and they could give you an estimate. but if it's a draw problem it could take a while as those are hard to find sometimes. if you are pretty sharp meaning anyone then they may be able to fix it.
