This is now the third summer that I have had this problem. I have a 99 plymouth breeze. It's been a great car. Always taken it to the garage for all its needs. Here is my problem. When its hot weather all the gages in the dash don't work. This makes me nervous as I don't even know how fast I am going. Today was an extremely hot day and everytime I got in my car, nothing in the dash worked. I sure would appreciate any input on this.

Most of the problems stem from bad solder joints and sometimes corrosion in the circuit board connections. You can find rebuilt instrument clusters, but a used one from a salvage yard will probably have (or develop) the same type of problem. If you get a "rebuilt" unit, may sure you get a strong warranty!
