I replaced my battery on my 99 maxima my security is on and the won't start.

You need to disarm the security system after removal of the battery.

Close all doors and use the key to lock and unlock the doors and retest.

If you have the keyless fob, use it to disarm.

Try using the trunk or passenger door if you have not tried yet.
After opening door, put key in ignition and turn to ON.

If above fails, disconnect battery negative terminal.
Put key in ignition and turn to ON.
Connect battery and retest.
