1999 Mercedes Benz C280 Repair Question

I have a c280 mercedes benz when I start the car first thing in the morning and put it in drive it runs rough and shakes in the steerling wheel realy bad until it warms up after I drive for about one hour
Why do my car runs so rough in the morning, however it get better once it warm up upon driving it foe about 30minutes to a hour

i would start with basics like spark plugs and all filters.
