why does my car die in park or on the brake, and stutters while driving, and is hard to accelerate?

When i put my car in park, it will die. and if i am on the brake at a red light it will also die. when i push on the gas and try to accelerate it is very hard for it to speed up. When i am driving it stutters very bad.
