Jeep Grand Cherokee Sensor Problem
A small light or sensor on top of dash on the drivers side. What is it and what does it do? Nothing in owners manual

Is it factory install or aftermarket, can you tell? I thought of light sensors and rain sensors, but, the location is wrong. Our database has component locations, I didn't see anything listed for top left side of dash?

I have a 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo and it too has a sensor that embeds in the plastic removable grill on the dash. I was wondering the same thing. Mine has a blue molded tip that is flat on the top.
