1999 Infiniti G20 Repair Question

Infiniti G20 Engine Problem
I was driving my infiniti and it started knocking like it was low on oil. it started quiet then got real loud engine died and started amoking which the smell was burnt oil. the engine cooled down before I tried starting it back up again and the engine would not turn over. had to have it towed and there was oil under the car on the ground. should I add oil and recharge my battery and try to start it?

No, it sounds like you are headed to either the dealer for a new car or a repair shop to have the motor replaced. It sounds terminal to me.
