I have a honda civic 1999. The check engine light is on when I reset the ECM and turn the car again It reapers. Please can I know what is the problem. This is what I get "ECM initial check Failure"

That sounds like a bad ECM but would need to be tested further to confirm.

Plug in a scan tool and see if it can communicate with the ECM. If yes, check if any trouble codes are present.
