I only get heat when I accelerate. You have to be moving in order to get warm air. Eng temp stays around 150 degrees.

Do live in extremely cold region? My info for v6 says 195 degree thermostat. Normal operating temp would be higher than 195, maybe 210 or better, degrees F. Do the heater hoses get hot?
Maybe you need to flush the heater core? Water pump turns faster with higher rpms.
