How to remove a front coil spring on a 1999 GMC safari rear wheel drive van
Have to remove the lower arm so as to change lower ball joint I nee to remove the coil and shock not sure how to do this

first of all, you do not need to remove the arm to do the joint. it is pressed in and you can rent the tool to do this operation.
removing the spring is very dangerous and is best left to a shop that knows the safe way to remove it.
