Car has been sitting in garage for about 6 months without being started. Was running fine before that time. Replaced the battery, all lights come on, radio works, electric locks and electric windows work. But when turn the key nothing, no click, no grind, absolutely nothing.

What could be wrong, fuse, altenator?

Start by checking to see if there is power to the smaller wire on the starter when the key is in the start position. You will need a helper to do this. If there is power, chances are the starter has gone bad. If there is no power, check the starter relay.

I found it was a bad chip in one of the keys. Tried the other key and started right up. I noticed the Theft light kept flashing everytime I used the bad key. Thanks for your assistance though, this is a great site.

Glad you got it fixed. I didn't know the security light was an issue.
