Making whining sound on driver side

1999 Ford Taurus - Under air intake hose what could it be besides the power steering pump, makes whining noise when stared then stops but makes whining noise when moving until warms up

On drivers side, you may want to check the trans fluid as it may be the torque converter making the noise. Otherwise it may be a cam syncronizer failing as it also can make noises as well.

Ok it stops whinning once it warms up but does still slightly make it when accelorating
