Ford Ranger Dealer Problem
Heater takes to long to warm up then starts running cold, temperature gauge fluctuates, and there's the occasional odor of anti-freeze,not inside the truck but outside...the truck was taken to the Ford dealership...the system was flushed AGAIN and the thermostat was replaced

Flushing is not the issue.
the leak must be found.
how bad did it overheat?? sounds like you may have blown a head gasket
