Engine will start but shuts off immediatly. can you help me?
1999 Ford ranger 4WD 3.0 Liter
Engine will start but shuts off as soon as I return the key to the on position (from Start position).

check fuel pressure first..

Sounds like possibly a bad ignition switch.

If the fuel pump wasnt running with the engine running it would shut off instantly.
