How do you change an alternator on a 1999 st24, we cannot get to the bolts to undo and replace

Get a repair manual and read its removal procedures and use your imagination and combination of tools to get to the bolt/s

That car is also known as ford contour. Easier to find info on contour I would think. Do these pics look like yours? You may have to go under car to access a bolt.
