My ford focus broke down on me when i start it the belts spin but it just make a high pitched noise like a electric lawn mower starting it doesent sound like it shoiuld do when you start it propper

Dunno what belt you're talking about -is it the timing belt?

Sounds like a broke timing belt to me but it needs to be diagnosed properly to know for sure.
